Great Dance Instruction in a really accessible location!
I've been salsa dancing for a few years, but I'd been wanting to learn how to ballroom dance for ages, and finally a friend suggested I take classes with Deborah. I'm so glad I did!! She's a great teacher! In addition to being incredibly knowledgeable about the technique and style of each dance, she's also patient, fun and great at explaining the dance steps and how to make them look good. The prices are competitive (a great value for the amount of instruction you get) and location is really convenient, too - an easy walk from the Promenade or the beach, but if you're driving in, it's never a struggle to find parking near the dance studio. I highly recommend Deborah & By Your Side Productions!!

I take salsa lessons here and have been for the past 2 1/2 years. Deborah is my instructor and I think she is an awesome instructor. She is very patient & entertaining. The environment is uplifting and all the students get along very well. I always look forward to my Thursday night classes. Deborah also schedules two fun outings a month for us which makes it even better because you get to do a lot of dance related things as a group. I don't know of any other place that does that.

I am 65 years old and just recently learned to dance with "Your First Dance" DVD.  I dance down at my local Senior Center and after learning from your DVD, I gained confidence as a dancer and leader.  I still make mistakes and bump into people from time to time, but no one seems to mind.  We are having fun and most of all, I feel confident on the dance floor.
